I gave my life over to Christ more than 10 years ago which includes COMPTU Computer Technical Support and Consulting. I belong to Him. He purchased me with His blood. My life and all that I own is really not mine. It's all His.
I do not differentiate from home and church or any other place. I am the same person no matter where I am. I am a Christian who is a servant of our Lord. I serve Him and minister where He needs me to be which can be anywhere.
Because He has placed it on my heart the urgency of the Gospel message, every road He has placed before me must be utilized for His greater honor and Glory. That is, every opportunity He has afforded me to spread the Good News, I will run with it and tell all who would receive this message.
COMPTU is well known and has quite a following. If my Christian walk is to match my talk, then I place myself out there without fear and without being ashamed of the Gospel. It also means I must be accountable. I have deliberately given no less than 12 men permission to correct me if my walk and talk are not in alignment otherwise I may give the people of this world the wrong impression of who it is that I serve.
If I say I am a Christian and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, then I should behave as such. As the renewing of my mind continues to mature me, when I encounter the worldly things, I know greater is He who is in me than who is in the world. I need only be myself. Since my desire is to serve the Lord and He has so lovingly and graciously given me this medium to spread the Good News, then I would be faithless and foolish not to jump on this opportunity. So I give it everything He has empowered me to utilize to spread the message.
I wear many hats. I am a husband and dad; a brother and son and I am also a friend; I am a teacher and a student and I am also a mentor; I am a business owner, a tax payer and a soldier; and, so many other things not mentioned. Most importantly, there is no separation from whom God has called me to be and the many facets of my life experience. I am redeemed, saved by the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. My redemption - my salvation - my trust - my faith is entirely in Jesus Christ. Now, there is no distinction between my various hats and who I am in Christ. It is all inseparable.
I hope that makes sense. In this world it probably doesn’t but it makes no matter. I know who I am in the Lord and I know what He has asked of me.
